How to practise
In the second trimester, a tender point, held warmly and without fear can show up quietly or all at once. This guided meditation makes room for the feeling without turning it into a lesson you are meant to pass.
There are points in a pregnancy that land as quietly meaningful, where the whole thing feels a little more real, a little more solid. This practice offers a gentle space to sit with that tenderness, to acknowledge how far you have come, and to let the moment feel significant without tipping into fear.
Find a position that supports you (seated or lying down). Press play and let the guidance move at its own pace. There is no correct way to feel, and nothing to visualize on demand.
This episode is written for week 24. It fits best a reflective day; a moment this milestone feels significant, though you can return whenever the week feels heavy or unfamiliar.
Each week in the series stands alone. Listeners often join at their current week and circle back later; the arc rewards continuity, but nothing here assumes you have been listening since week one.

Welcome to Week Twenty-Four.
Some weeks just feel significant, in a quiet, hard-to-explain way. The pregnancy can feel a little more solid now, a little more real, and that can stir something tender in you.
So today is a gentle pause. A chance to sit with that tenderness, to notice how far you have come, and to let this moment feel meaningful, warmly, without any fear attached to it. Let's begin.
…
Let's begin by letting your body settle.
…
Find a position that supports you. Let the surface beneath you take your weight.
…
Let your eyes close, or rest them softly open.
…
Take one slow breath in.
…
And a long breath out.
…
Let's steady the breath together. In… one… … two… … three… … four…
…
And out, longer. Out… one… … two… … three… … four… … five… … six…
…
Again, in your own time.
…
Let the counting go.
…
If it feels comforting, you might rest a hand low on your belly. Just to be near. There is something steadying in that small, quiet gesture, this far along.
…
Let yourself feel how far you have come. All the weeks behind you, the early uncertainty, the waiting, the milestones met one by one. You have carried all of that to arrive here, at this quiet, tender point.
…
You do not have to make this moment into anything grand. You can simply let it be significant in the way it already is. A small, real marker on a long road. Worth pausing for. Worth feeling.
…
And if tenderness rises, a little wave of emotion, let it come. You are allowed to be moved by your own journey. There is nothing here to brace against. Just a soft, warm pause, in a moment that matters to you.
…
Now, three quiet truths. Let each one land in the body, not only the mind.
…
The first. I can let this point feel tender, without fear.
…
Notice where you feel that, if anywhere.
…
The second. I have come a long, steady way.
…
Let it settle.
…
And the last. This moment is allowed to feel significant.
…
You do not have to explain it. Just let it be true.
…
Stay a little longer, breathing, in this tender pause.
…
And when you are ready, begin to come back. Feel your weight. Feel your hands.
…
Let your breath rejoin your day.
…
Open your eyes slowly, if they were closed.
…
And carry this warmth gently with you.
…
That is the end of this week's practice.
Tender milestones can bring feelings to the surface, and that is a good thing, even when it is a lot. If anything here feels heavy rather than warm, you do not have to hold it alone. Your midwife or someone you trust is a steady place to turn.
We will meet again next week.
